Even from a purely materialistic-scientific perspective, Earth's energy comes from the same source: the sun, which undergoes various transformations until it animates all matter as we perceive it.
Plants need sun to grow and serve as food for the bird that glides through the skies on wind currents formed by the uneven heating of the Earth's surface by the sun. The human being on the ground observing everything feeds on plants and animals, all in the chain feed on matter that was, to some extent, "energized" by the sun.
Human beings are the only ones who are self-conscious in this process.
We are the sun's energy transmuting matter and observing itself.

As plantas necessitam de sol para crescer e servem de alimento ao pássaro que plana pelos céus nas correntes de vento que são formadas pelo aquecimento desigual da superfície terrestre pelo sol. O ser humano no chão observando tudo se alimenta de plantas e animais, todos na cadeia se alimentam de matéria que foi, em alguma medida, "energizada" pelo sol.
O ser humano é o único que é autoconsciente nesse processo.
Somos a energia do sol transmutando a matéria e observando a si própria.
